Dr. Aboubakar Cissé, representative of UNFPA, United Nations Fund for Population in Equatorial Guinea, handed over the keys of a Toyotavehicle to the Director General of INEGE, National Institute of Statistics.  The ceremony was attended by the assistant representative, Mr. Jaime Nsue Esono Mangue, the Inspector of INEGE among others.  The event was held in the premises of the United Nations building in Malabo.

Our commitment as implementing partner of the project is to support state institutions to achieve the strengthening of the national statistical system according to UNFPA representative Dr. Aboubakar Cissé in the interview. We need to streamline the statistical data collection process and a vehicle othis caliber is a very useful tool for INEGE's technical staff.

The event culminated with thanks from the INEGE Director General and the taking of a family photo. UNFPA's gesture reaffirms its commitment to our government and public institutions in the words of the Director General of INEGE, from now on, the National Institute of Statistics has another of the most important working tools that wil facilitate the mobilization of experts in the field.
